To add a new domain name to your hosting account, you need to complete two basic steps:
(1) Change the nameservers for your domain name to Namecheap;
(2) Add your domain name to the server your account is hosted on.
Follow the steps below to point your domain to our hosting nameservers:
- Having logged into the Namecheap account, go to your Domain List > click "Manage" next to the domain > locate the "Nameservers" section;
- Select "Namecheap Web Hosting DNS" in the drop-down;
- Save the changes using the checkmark icon next to the nameservers.
The process is also described in the following video guide: https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/10237/2255/video-how-to-connect-a-domain-name-to-your-shared-hosting/
It may take about 1 hour for the DNS changes to be accepted globally, though, in rare cases, it can take up to 24 hours. Please give it some time to propagate.
2. After changing the DNS, feel free to check the article on how to add your domain to your hosting here
If you are purchasing the domain from some other registrar you can simply point the domain to our hosting DNS: dns1.namecheaphosting.com and dns2.namecheaphosting.com
After that you can add it to the hosting.
Yes, you can.
All our multi-domain certificates are provided with three domain seats by default and you can add up to 97 more domain seats for an additional price in the cart or later via reissue.
Please note, if you need www versions of your websites to be secured, you need to activate the certificate for www. subdomains separately.
You can check the price and more details about multi-domain
